Non-Executive ChairAlison is Chair of the Ageas UK Boards and has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Ageas UK Boards since October 2022. Alison was appointed a Non-Executive Director of the Ageas UK Boards in June 2022. Alison Platt is a current FTSE Chair, an experienced FTSE 50 Board director and senior leader in both private and listed customer-driven companies. She is former Chief Executive of Countrywide and held senior roles in both BUPA and British Airways, with an executive career of over 20 years in insurance. She has led businesses in the UK and overseas, and has significant corporate finance, organisational transformation and growth experience gained during her executive career.

Chief Executive Officer, Ageas UKAnt Middle has been Chief Executive Officer of Ageas UK since June 2020, having originally joined the company back in 2014.
During his time with Ageas he has held the role of Managing Director of Partnerships and, more recently, Chief Customer Officer.
A keen runner and supporter of Ageas’s charity initiatives, Ant has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has held a number of senior positions in the general, health and life insurance sectors. He is currently a member of the international Ageas Group Management Committee and is also a Vice President for the Institute of Customer Service acting as a sounding board for new initiatives.

Peter was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in September 2025, following the sale of esure Group to Ageas. Peter brings a wealth of experience and a rich understanding of esure’s recent transformation having previously held the role of Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility for our Underwriting, Pricing, Customer, Marketing and Data & Analytics teams. Peter joined esure in October 2021 as Chief Trading Officer.
Background and experience
Previously, Peter ran British Gas residential and small business energy supply at Centrica, including the set-up of its new energy platform business and brands. Prior to this, Peter was responsible for Centrica Home Solutions, including Centrica Hive, focusing on growing the Hive brand of smart home products.
Before Centrica, Peter worked at Barclays across its retail, corporate and wealth businesses in a range of roles, including leading a turnaround of its unsecured lending business through digitisation and applied analytics, before becoming Managing Director for Marketing, Analytics and Innovation. He previously led strategy, transformation and commercial diligence projects at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte.
Peter has an MA in Physics & Philosophy from Oxford University and an MBA (distinction) from the London Business School.

Jonathan Price

Jonathan Price
Chief Financial Officer, Ageas UKJonathan Price joined Ageas in February 2019 and has primary responsibility for financial planning, management of financial risks, and financial reporting for the UK business.
Jonathan came to Ageas directly from his role as UK CFO at Aspen Insurance Group. Before joining Aspen he worked at Aviva for over six years, ultimately holding the position of UK Chief Accountant for its general insurance business.

Background and experience
Alistair was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in September 2025 following the acquisition of esure Group by Ageas. Alistair brings a rich understanding of esure’s transformation journey and future ambitions having joined in January 2021, previously holding the role of Director of Finance. As CFO he leads the finance, actuarial, capital management and procurement functions for esure, ensuring the effective delivery of all aspects of financial management for the business. Alistair graduated with a First Class Degree in Astrophysics from University College London, and is a Fellow Chartered Account (ICAEW). He brings a wealth of non-life (re)insurance experience having held roles in finance, strategy and investment banking (M&A advisory).
Prior appointments
Prior to esure, Alistair lead Corporate Development, Strategy and Financial Planning & Analysis functions for CNA Hardy. He also worked in investment banking as an Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) advisor across the insurance sector at both Aon Securities and KBW. Alistair started his career at Deloitte where he trained as an accountant within the insurance audit team.

Background and experience
Elisabeth is a product management and data science leader with over 25 years’ experience and expertise in developing digital products and leading teams in start-ups, scale-ups and global companies. She advises chief executive officers of digital ventures on their product and scaling strategies. She is currently a Venture Partner at Conduit Connect. She holds an Applied Mathematics MSc from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ParisTech) and an MA Marketing from ESSEC Business School.
Prior appointments
In her most recent executive position, Elisabeth led product management and data teams at Elsevier where she was responsible for developing new digital commercial offerings for Researcher products. Elisabeth was a board member and remains a product advisor to the chief executive officer of Ometria, a marketing and customer data platform. Prior to that she held senior product roles at Talk Talk, eBay, and PayPal. She is a noted expert in the field of artificial intelligence, was a member of the European Commission’s High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence & Ethics in 2019 - 2020, and a member of the AI ethics steering committee at Digital Catapult.

Annette Andrews is an experienced HR leader and Remuneration Committee Chair who brings a significant track record across the financial services sector. She has an MBA from Henley Business School, is a qualified Executive Coach and Mediator, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Annette was Chief People officer at Lloyd’s of London, the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplaces, where she led organisation and people transformation. Prior to this she had senior roles at Ford Motor Company, Catlin, and Lloyds Banking Group. She is currently also an independent Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee Chair at Foxtons Group plc and FNZ Uk Ltd.

Background and experience
Andrew is an independent non-executive director of Enstar Group (Bermuda), Lifetri Groep BV (Netherlands), Clara Pensions (UK), Sanlam Group (SA), Sanlam Life (SA), Sanlam Allianz Africa (SA) and Assupol Life (SA), the latter 3 companies being subsidiaries of Sanlam Group. He also chairs IDM Group in South Africa.
Andrew has spent his career in financial services, general, life and health insurance, investment management and banking, primarily as chief financial officer of fast growing, entrepreneurial insurance businesses. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, the Actuarial Society of South Africa and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary.

Previously, Andrew held independent NED roles at Sun Life of Canada (UK), and Ascot Underwriting Limited and Investec Life Limited. Until 30 April 2025 he was a Senior Advisor to Sixth Street Partners on their global insurance strategy. Prior to 2016, he held executive roles as chief financial officer of Guardian Financial Services Ltd, group chief risk officer and group chief actuary of Old Mutual Plc, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Investec Securities Ltd, South Africa and chief financial officer of Capital Alliance Holdings, South Africa. He was a founder of Universal Partners Limited, and was an executive director until April 2022.

He also holds non-executive positions at Novoview and The Great Britain – China Centre. Richard’s previous executive roles include: Ping An which he joined in 2005 where he successively served as Chief Financial Business Officer Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd. from November 2005 to May 2010, Executive Director of Ping An Bank Co., Ltd., from June 2010 to September 2012 and as President and CEO of Ping An Bank Co., Ltd., from October 2010 to September 2012. From 1985 to 2005, Richard served in various positions in Citibank, including Head of International Business for Citigroup Insurance International and Financial Institutions Head for Asia. From 1974 to 1985, he served as Deputy Manager for Hong Kong and Regional Marketing Manager for Asia in Commercial Union Assurance Corporation.

Chief Executive Officer, Ageas GroupHans De Cuyper holds a Master Degree in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Leuven (1993) and an Executive MBA in Financial Services from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (2004).
Hans joined Ageas group in 2004 as Director Insurance Management Asia in Hong Kong. In 2007, he moved to Malaysia as Chief Financial Officer in Etiqa Insurance & Takaful, the joint venture between Maybank and Ageas. From 2011 until 2013, he was member of the Executive Committee of Maybank, the leading Malaysian bank, and Chief Executive Officer for Etiqa. From September 2013 until September 2015, Hans held the position of Chief Financial Officer of AG Insurance, Ageas’s Belgian subsidiary. In October 2015, Hans became Chief Executive Officer of AG Insurance and five years later he was appointed CEO of Ageas and non-independent executive member of the Board of Directors.

Managing Director, Ageas EuropeBen Coumans holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Leuven and an MBA in General Management from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. Ben joined Ageas in October 2014 as Director Strategy and Development. In 2018 he became Group Director M&A and in 2021 Group Director Strategy and M&A. Ben started his professional career at Fortis, where he became Director Development & Acquisitions of Fortis Retail Banking in 2006. In 2008 he joined the investment bank Leonardo & Co as Director to become later Managing Director, after which he joined Ageas. As of 1 March 2024, Ben has been appointed Managing Director Europe.
