Brand and marketing

Our ambition to change the insurance industry for the better also means great new opportunities in our brand teams. We’re totally customer centric and dedicated to using creativity and research as well as data and cutting-edge digital tools to shape our brands and how we present ourselves to our customers. It’s an exciting, challenging, and dynamic environment for ambitious brand and marketing professionals.


Our Procurement team supports and optimises the delivery of our business objectives by driving the best value and minimising business risk through a professional procurement process. We are involved in everything from bringing in new suppliers and services to managing long term relationships with our business partners.


Our Finance team provides support across the business, including reporting, financial insight and analysis, planning and forecasting, business decision support and strategic advice. We give timely and accurate financial information to a range of stakeholders including the Board, our regulators, investors and other business departments.

Human resources

We value all of our people and teams – and Human resources is at the heart of everything we do. From the Reward and HR services team, through to the Communications & engagement and Learning & development teams, the majority of our work involves providing supporting services to the rest of the business, including payroll, talent acquisition and management, performance management and wellbeing.

Underwriting and pricing

A core part of our business, the role of our Underwriting team is to accurately assess, protect and write business in line with esure’s overall risk appetite and, in doing so, contribute to the growth and profitability of the company. Our Pricing team aims to drive the health and profitability of esure through the power of analytics, collaboration and innovation.


Our people deserve the best working environment we can offer. From keeping spaces tidy to enhancing security and sustainability, our Facilities team provides support services to the standards we all expect while responsibly managing assets and finances. We also have responsibility for the physical security of esure's buildings, including access control, security, and CCTV.

We are here to provide support, assistance, and challenge to the business to ensure we are compliant with the regulators' requirements, and to oversee and question our financial strength, data management, policy and procedures at all times.

Legal and company secretariat

We are definitely not here just for the small print. The aim of our team is to ensure the company remains compliant with the spirit and letter of the law, safeguarding the company within acceptable risk parameters. We are not here to say “no” to any of esure’s plans or strategies, but rather help shape and design initiatives to avoid unnecessary legal roadblocks. We will also help shape and negotiate contracts to appropriately protect esure’s position.

Company Secretariat is responsible for the effective running of the Board and Board Committees, ensuring compliance with applicable corporate governance codes, and corporate filing and reporting requirements.
